Job summary

Tiello LLC is seeking experienced Waterproofing Installers to join the crew on an active casino project in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on below-grade waterproofing, sealants, coatings, and air/vapor barriers with attention to safety on fast-paced sites.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on installation experience, read and follow plans, and collaborate with foremen to maintain schedule and quality. Travel to nearby sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of commercial waterproofing, caulking, or coatings experience.
• Experience with below-grade systems, air/vapor barriers, elastomeric coatings, or sealants.
• Ability to read and follow drawings and manufacturer details.
• Comfortable working outdoors in construction environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work at heights if needed.
• Reliable transportation to the Norfolk jobsite.
• Willingness to pass background/drug screening.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of waterproofing systems, including membranes, hot- and cold-applied systems, sheet goods, and fluid-applied products.
• Apply caulking, sealants, expansion joints, and traffic coatings.
• Assist with prep work: cleaning substrates, priming surfaces, masking, and layout.
• Read plans, details, and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper installation.
• Work alongside foremen and superintendents to maintain schedule and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely (sprayers, rollers, torches, etc.).
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all OSHA standards and site-specific safety protocols.
• Communicate job progress, potential issues, and material needs to supervisors.
• Support punch list and QA/QC activities as required.

Compensation:

$25–$30/hr (DOE) + Overtime

Tiello is partnered with a leading commercial waterproofing and restoration contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region. This contractor specializes in waterproofing, below-grade systems, air/vapor barriers, coatings, sealants, and façade restoration across commercial, industrial, and large-scale entertainment facilities.

Role Summary:
