Building Restoration Services, a Boston-based specialty contractor, seeks a Waterproofing Foreman to lead field operations across building-envelope restoration and waterproofing projects in the I-495 corridor. You will work hands-on with skilled crews, drive daily production, mentor teammates, and grow your own waterproofing crew over time.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years in commercial waterproofing, OSHA 30, a valid DOT Card, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial waterproofing and building-envelope restoration.
• Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification and a valid DOT Card.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel up to 10% within the regional project territory.
• Demonstrated mastery of surface preparation, joint sealants, traffic coatings, and below-grade waterproofing.
• Proven experience working safely at heights using scaffolding, staging, and aerial lifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily on-site operations to ensure waterproofing and restoration work meets manufacturer specifications.
• Execute hands-on installations across fluid- applied, hot-applied, sheet membrane, and elastomeric coating systems.
• Lead and train crew members on surface preparation, film thickness monitoring, and proper material application.
• Identify substrate issues and existing site conditions prior to application to prevent system failures.
• Coordinate daily manpower, material orders, and access equipment to maintain project schedules.
• Enforce site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Document project progress daily with clear photographic evidence and production reports.

The Opportunity

You will serve as an essential field leader, driving the successful execution of commercial building-envelope waterproofing and restoration projects across the I-495 belt. This role empowers you to work hands-on alongside skilled crews while sharing your expertise to strengthen your field operations. You will have the direct autonomy to manage daily production, mentor team members, and eventually build and lead your own dedicated waterproofing crew.

How You Will Make An Impact

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience in a crew lead, supervisor, or foreman role.
• Active Hoisting/Forklift license and aerial lift certifications.
• Manufacturer certifications for systems such as Sika, Tremco, Neogard, Master Builders Solutions, Carlisle, GCP, Hot Applied or Henry.
