Job summary

Valcourt is seeking a field technician to perform waterproofing and concrete work on buildings and parking structures. You will contribute to leak investigations, water testing, and repairs for water infiltration, using equipment and established procedures.

The role involves assisting in waterproofing applications, handling various coating products, and performing exterior repairs. You will work outdoors in diverse weather and follow safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in waterproofing or related field.
• Must have good physical fitness to lift objects weighing up to 25kg.
• Ability to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Waterproofing & concrete work.
• Perform leak investigations, water testing & repairs for water infiltration.
• Install waterproofing treatment using equipment per established procedures.
• Assist in waterproofing application and work with waterproofing chemicals and coatings.
• Perform minor exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing issues.
• Access to work areas may require lift equipment; training provided.
• Perform integrity testing and troubleshooting of waterproofing membranes/coatings.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and replaced as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety practices and procedures.
• Follow applicable laws, building codes and company policies.
