Job summary

Valcourt Group is seeking a field operations supervisor to manage, supervise, and coordinate daily field operations for project personnel to ensure on-time completion with top safety, customer service, and quality.

The role involves inspecting quality control, enforcing safety protocols, monitoring crews, and coordinating with HR on incidents and materials. Must be capable of reading scope of work and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and self-motivation to complete tasks without direct supervision.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to work extended and non-standard hours as required.
• Valid driver’s license will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of roofing, waterproofing and coatings materials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect quality control.
• Inspect work to comply with company and manufacturer standards.
• Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to and enforced.
• Monitor crews and ensure productive work pace and alignment with policies.
• Report to supervisor any crew members violating policies.
• Monitor material stock and notify supervisor when material is low.
• Enforce company policies and procedures and report incidents to HR and supervisor.
• Inform supervisor of resident/client issues or concerns.
• Traverse ladders, scaffolding, and roofs as needed.
• Read scope of work and be familiar with submittals and project materials.
• Clock in/out crews’ hours and manage permissions for timekeeping.
• Ensure work phone is accessible for emergency response calls.
