Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant for a Palo Alto office of a multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm. You will provide technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems, oversee design work, and coordinate revisions with project teams.

The role requires a technical degree and experience in repair and reconstruction of apartments, condos, and commercial/government buildings; a PE or RA license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
• Expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems; PE or RA license preferred.
• Experience in repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial/government buildings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelopes for design oversight.
• Redline drawings and specifications to identify design gaps, code compliance issues, and constructibility concerns, and coordinate revisions with project teams.
• Peer review of technical documents for accuracy, compliance, and building envelope performance to support quality control and risk mitigation.
• Produce construction document sets including drawings, details, and specifications for roofing and waterproofing systems to support permitting, bidding, and construction.
