Qualifications

• Educational requirements: None; Preferred: High School Diploma; CPO certification may be obtained through Chula Vista Resort.
• Experience requirements: None; Preferred: One year in a maintenance role.
• Skills, knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of resort operations and guest relations; ability to work well with others; problem solving; ability to define objectives; carpentry, painting, drywall repair, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool and water quality maintenance are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performing repairs and work orders for the aquatic facilities.
• Maintaining the operational effectiveness of the aquatic facilities.
• Maintaining compliance with all legal requirements, codes, cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Safeguarding the confidentiality of customer, company and employee information.
• Handling difficult situations tactfully.
• Maintaining a cooperative working relationship with guests and the entire staff.
• Ensuring that all standards will be consistent with the goals and objectives established by the resort.
