Job summary

Six Flags White Water is seeking a Waterpark Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, construction, and rehab of facilities, attractions and rides. The role oversees HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and safety programs, coordinating with multiple park departments in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate must have 5+ years of supervisory experience in a water park maintenance setting, a CPO license, and knowledge of OSHA standards, with ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license is required.
• Experience with Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management systems.
• Skilled trades include Carpentry, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Paint and Fiberglass.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a water park Maintenance Department.
• Advanced knowledge of swimming pools and water slides.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage costs.
• Strong communication with various departments and park guests.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maintenance Department to deliver results across facilities maintenance, annual preventative maintenance, repairs and rehab of structures and equipment.
• Oversee maintenance including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry and ride structures.
• Ensure water quality program aligns with pool standards set by Six Flags and Cobb-Douglas Public Health.
• Ensure ride inspection programs meet standards from Six Flags, ride manufacturers, ASTM and the State of Georgia.
• Maintain and enforce Six Flags and OSHA safety standards for guests and employees.
• Schedule, prioritize, and oversee park projects and goals.
• Utilize financial data to plan the department budget and monthly forecasts.
• Collaborate with Marketing, In-Park Service, Operations, Group Sales and HR for projects.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development for the Maintenance Team.
• Assist Maintenance Director with capital projects and new construction.
• Occasionally serve as Park Manager In-Charge on a rotating basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
