Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Lifeguard - Waterpark to ensure guest and associate safety across all waterpark pools, hot tubs, slides and attractions. You will apply lifesaving skills and first aid while delivering responsive, friendly service in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years of age or older per state laws.
• Must pass Starguard lifeguard certification.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Understand policies, procedures, standards and safety guidelines for waterpark venues.
• Apply lifesaving skills and first aid to guests/associates as needed.
• Comply with regulations pertaining to health, safety, labor requirements of waterpark outlets/venues, associates and guests.
• Escort guest incidents to first aid and ensure proper reporting and follow-up.
• Assist with daily startup and closing procedures of water park attractions and maintain park cleanliness.
