Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge seeks a lifeguard to supervise swimmers and guests, respond to emergencies, and administer first aid as needed. The position offers flexible scheduling and on-site work at our waterpark, with opportunities for advancement and cross-training.

The ideal candidate is at least 16 years old, willing to obtain required certifications (First Aid, CPR, Ellis & Associates Lifeguard), and capable of communicating clearly with guests while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to obtain Certification in First Aid, CPR and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training.
• Prior criminal background check and drug screen will be required.
• Swim 50 yards in 4 ft. of water and retrieve a 10 lb brick from the bottom of pool.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and provides surveillance of swimmers and guests during park hours, events and training sessions.
• Responds to emergency situations in assigned zone.
• Administers and coordinates emergency first aid as necessary.
• Enforces waterpark rules and safety procedures.
• Provides superior customer service to guests in a polite, expedient manner.
• Performs daily routine chores and maintenance to keep waterpark neat and orderly.
