Job summary

Massanutten Resort is seeking a self-motivated Custodian for the Massanutten WaterPark on the first shift. Maintain cleanliness of public areas and restrooms, handle trash, vacuum, and floor care. Training available for the right candidate, with emphasis on customer service.

Requirements include attention to detail, good communication, and at least 18 years old. Full-time position with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail required.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment preferred.
• Proficient with custodial equipment and supplies preferred.
• Previous custodial experience is a plus but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain public areas and restrooms in clean, orderly condition.
• Remove trash, vacuum, mop, strip and polish as needed.
• Follow safe work practices and use of chemicals and equipment.

We're searching for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the Massanutten WaterPark. If you take pride in your work and are committed to exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary

Maintain public areas, restrooms, or other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Remove trash, vacuum, mopping, stripping and polishing, etc. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning applications. (Will train the right candidate).

Requirements

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train
• Attention to detail
• Have working knowledge of cleaning methods, material, and equipment (Preferred)
• Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• High school or GED (preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years old

Rotating Four-Week Schedule

• Week One: Monday through Friday | Off: Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Monday, Thursday through Sunday | Off: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Week Three: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday | Off: Monday & Friday
• Week Four: Monday through Thursday, & Sunday | Off: Friday & Saturday
