Qualifications

• 3+ years of fabrication, installation and/or construction related experience.
• Experience with lead water line replacement and lead piping documentation is preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug tests and MVR checks.
• Must be able to traverse the worksite in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review project contract agreements between contractor and utility for construction guidelines.
• Inspect waterline projects, verify service line settings and counts.
• Review prints and perform field checks on utility company plans.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and conduct daily inspections of waterline work.
• Locate main line valves and verify operation to ensure proper shut down.
• Document observations and maintain daily inspection reports and time logs.
• Prepare valve cards, hydrant care, and map distribution points.
