Job summary

American Systems is seeking a Waterfront Power Coordinator with a Secret clearance and 8 years of navy maintenance experience to support Code 226 HM&E Testing Program in Pearl Harbor, HI. This full-time, on-site role requires coordinating power for shipboard work and ensuring safety during alterations and testing.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of navy maintenance experience.
  • 3 years of oversight and management of Navy ship systems during availabilities, including modernization actions.
  • HS graduate with 3 years of experience in operation, maintenance, testing and repair of HM&E Equipment on US Navy surface ships or submarines.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Power Coordination, interface with ships force, NSWCPD, ISRA and other activities performing shipboard work to schedule the "tagin/tagout" of all equipment.
  • Provide power to ensure safety of workers and support for the alterations being completed by the maintenance activity, shipyard and Alteration Installation Team (AIT).
  • Notify the Ship Manager Representative of delays and changes from all production entities.
  • Support Shipboard Testing with in-depth knowledge of the Shipboard WAF process and eSOMS system.
  • Provide waterfront power support daily and manage the schedule for all aspects of work being completed.
