Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural coursework; required.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis; strongly preferred.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification; preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or a comparable drafting platform.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000 or a comparable equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in structural analysis and design of waterfront projects, utilizing software such as SAP2000 for finite element modeling and AutoCAD for drafting.
• Prepares calculations and documents information for completed designs.
• Coordinates and develops structural drawings with engineers and drafters.
• Performs site visits and inspections of existing structures to evaluate conditions and prepares reports.
• Assists with construction administration including site visits, RFIs, and submittals.
