Jacobs in Virginia Beach is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join the Ports & Maritime team. You’ll assist in design analysis and field work on waterfront projects, learning from specialists and contributing to projects from local to international scales.

This paid internship requires a rising junior pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu, plus MS Word/Excel. Hybrid work policy and benefits are provided.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required, emphasis on Structural Design.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Mansioni

• Learn and engage in the design of maritime structures from urban waterfront parks to ports.
• Assist in preparation of drawings, calculations, memos, specs and reports.
• Perform site visits and support field reports.
