Job summary

Migis Lodge on Sebago Lake in Casco, ME is hiring a Waterfront/Groundskeeper to maintain the waterfront, lawns, and guest amenities. You will assist guests with boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards, and help keep the grounds inviting and safe.

Shifts are full-time seasonal, with 6:30am–2:30pm or 10am–6pm. On-site housing is available for qualified candidates, and compensation ranges from $16 to $17 per hour plus a 7% incentive.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality and eagerness to work outdoors.
• Comfort around boats, canoes, kayaks, and water activity areas.
• Must be of age to operate lawn maintenance equipment per Maine law.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, well-groomed waterfront and keep watercraft and equipment in good order.
• Communicate maintenance issues clearly to the Head of Maintenance.
• Ensure lawns and grass areas are manicured promptly to minimize guest disruption.
• Maintain tools and equipment used for waterfront and grounds upkeep.
• Attend to other maintenance tasks and projects as directed by the Head of Maintenance.
• Ensure safe operation of grounds-keeping equipment with required safety gear.
