Job summary

Summerset Marine Construction in southeastern Wisconsin seeks a physically capable worker to install and remove piers, boat lifts, and accessories. You will handle materials, operate tools, and support marine structures on shore and water environments.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in diverse weather conditions. A high school diploma, valid license, and willingness to travel to job sites are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean MVR.
• CDL A preferred.
• Experience in marine or construction environment advantageous.
• Ability to swim and comfort working on or near water.
• Familiarity with hand tools, basic carpentry, and machinery.
• Boater safety.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, maintenance, and dismantling of docks, piers, and other marine structures.
• Load, unload, identify, and distribute building materials and equipment as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools; maintain and store tools properly.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on small boats and assist in barge operations.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Set up and remove scaffolding and temporary structures at job sites.
• Prepare sites by removing debris and waste from barges and waterways.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
