Job summary

Whitewater - Summerset in Wisconsin is seeking a Construction Laborer to assist with the installation, maintenance, and dismantling of docks, piers, and other marine structures. You will load and move materials, operate hand tools and machinery, and help ensure safe, efficient work in varying weather conditions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean MVR, and be comfortable around water.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Clean MVR/certifications including CPR/First Aid and Boater Safety.
• CDL A preferred.
• Experience in a marine or construction environment is advantageous.
• Ability to swim and be comfortable around water.
• Familiarity with hand tools, basic carpentry, and machinery.
• Boater Safety.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction, maintenance, and dismantling of docks, piers, and other marine structures.
• Load, unload, identify, and distribute building materials and equipment as needed for daily operations.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring all tools are maintained and stored properly.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on small boats and assist in the operation of barges.
• Follow safety procedures for all tasks, especially those requiring PPE.
• Participate in the setup and removal of scaffolding and temporary structures at job sites.
• Clean and prepare sites, including removing debris and waste materials from barges and waterways.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may include tasks on land or water.
• Travel to jobsites is required.
