Job summary

Foth invites applications for a Civil Engineering Intern- Waterfront Infrastructure in Green Bay, WI or Madison, WI for Summer 2027. You will work with experienced engineers on dredging, port, harbor, and waterfront projects that support commerce and navigation across the Great Lakes region.

You will gain hands-on exposure to waterfront inspections, hydrographic surveying, and design tasks while applying classroom knowledge in real-world contexts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar engineering field from an ABET-accredited program
• GPA of 3.0 or greater
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience

Responsibilities

• Work directly with team members on various project deliverables in the dredging, environmental permitting, civil and coastal engineering fields
• Conduct topographic & hydrographic surveys and 3D drone scans with certified team members
• Assist with structural inspections and construction oversight activities
• Support design work utilizing AutoCAD
• Prepare local, state, and federal permit documents
• Assist with data management and report preparation

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar engineering field (ABET-accredited)
