Job summary

Foth is offering a hands-on Civil Engineering Internship – Waterfront Infrastructure for Summer 2027 in Green Bay or Madison, WI. You will work with experienced engineers on dredging, hydrographic surveying, environmental permitting, and design tasks to support Great Lakes ports and waterfront facilities.

You will gain practical experience through field surveys, inspections, AutoCAD design support, and permit documentation while applying your classroom knowledge to real-world infrastructure

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar ABET-accredited program.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with team members on project deliverables in dredging, environmental permitting, civil and coastal engineering.
• Conduct topographic & hydrographic surveys and 3D drone scans with certified team members.
• Assist with structural inspections and construction oversight activities.
• Support design work utilizing AutoCAD.
• Prepare local, state, and federal permit documents.
• Assist with data management and report preparation.

Education

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar (ABET-accredited)
