Job summary

Cornell University is seeking a Boating Coordinator to assist the Aquatics Director with the kayaking, circling, and standup paddleboarding programs. Responsibilities include conducting boat tests, training instructors, and ensuring safety conditions throughout the summer.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and as a boating instructor, along with a valid ACA evaluation. This seasonal position offers a salary between $5,500 and $7,200.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children.
• At least 1 year of experience as a boating instructor.
• Valid American Canoe Association evaluation or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old per NYS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with kayaking, circling, and paddleboarding program.
• Conduct boat tests and train instructors.
• Promote safety on and off the water.
