Job summary

Tri Star Engineering, Inc. in Crane, Indiana, is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead Waterfront Support and AIT Services for maritime and defense platforms.

You will coordinate with shipyards, government customers such as NAVSEA, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver complex system integration on time, within budget and to quality standards. The role requires 7+ years in defense/maritime programs, PMP-certified or equivalent, and strong leadership with DoD stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in defense/maritime programs with leadership.
• PMP-certified project management is preferred.
• Experience interfacing with NAVSEA or DoD stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead waterfront AIT integration and testing of mission systems, combat and supporting subsystems.
• Develop schedules, risk plans and resource allocations to meet milestones.
• Serve as primary waterfront liaison with shipbuilders, NAVSEA, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to QA, safety and contractual requirements.
• Facilitate status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Support material readiness, test planning and installation verification.
• Manage budgets, control costs and resolve variances.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians and logisticians.
• Drive continuous improvement in integration/test processes and docs.
• Oversee issue resolution during testing and integration activities.
