Job summary

TRISTAR invites an experienced Program Manager to join our Crane, Indiana team, leading waterfront AIT services for maritime platforms. You will coordinate engineers, shipyards, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to deliver programs on time, within budget, and to high safety standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership of complex system integration on naval vessels, with strong scheduling, cost control, and risk management skills. Onsite work at the waterfront is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of defense/maritime program experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• PMP-certified Project Management Professional.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead waterfront AIT efforts, overseeing integration and testing of mission and subsystems.
• Develop and manage schedules, risk plans, and resource allocations to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with shipbuilders, NAVSEA, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
• Ensure QA procedures, safety regulations, and contractual requirements are followed.
• Facilitate status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Support material readiness, test planning, and installation verification.
• Manage program budgets and control costs; resolve variances.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and logisticians.
• Drive continuous improvement in integration/test processes and documentation.
• Oversee issue resolution during testing and integration activities.
