Job summary

H2O Innovation in Gulfport, MS is seeking a skilled Water Well Operator for a full-time, permanent role. You will oversee the daily operation of the water well division to ensure a continuous supply of safe drinking water for Gulfport residents.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Class D Mississippi Water License preferred.
• High school diploma/GED.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to deal with the public professionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in various outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform work duties outlined in the job description.
• Help ensure compliance with all MSDH standards.
• Conduct sampling required by the MSDH and other agencies.
• Ensure all well and tank infrastructure is operating properly and in accordance with government standards.
• Complete and submit logbooks.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
