Job summary

H 2 O Innovation in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Water/Sewer/Construction Laborer to join our field crew. This permanent, full-time role involves assisting with installation, repair, and maintenance of underground water and sewer lines in outdoor environments.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, dependable, and able to work safely under varying weather. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required; background and motor vehicle checks will be conducted.

H 2 O Innovation is a leading company in water and wastewater treatment, specializing in innovative water technologies, services, specialty products, and contract operations.

We are seeking a Water/Sewer/Construction Laborer to join our team in Gulfport, MS. In this permanent & full-time role, the laborer will assist the crew with the installation, repair, & maintenance of underground water and sewer lines.

The Day-to-Day

• Help with installation, repairs and maintenance of water and sewer lines.
• Assist crew with completing work orders and meeting benchmarks
• Support the installation of new water and sewer taps.
• Ensure daily operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Participate in a rotating call/OT schedule, working one week at a time.

The Skills We Are Looking For

• Knowledge of water and sewer line repair and installation is a plus;
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of assigned equipment;
• Familiarity with work hazards and safety precautions;
• Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
• Capability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions (all work is conducted outdoors);
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required;
• Valid driver's license.

The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
