Job summary

Granite Construction in Des Moines, IA, is hiring to assist a Driller in water well drilling operations at outdoor sites, with travel between job sites. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Driller in conducting water well drilling operations.
  • Operate and maintain service trucks, backhoes, forklifts, generators, engines, pumps and other drilling site equipment.
  • Lift and move drill pipe and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Transport drilling rigs and equipment between sites and set up job sites.
  • Complete daily paperwork accurately to maintain time and material records.
  • Collect and label drill cuttings or water samples for analysis.
