At Benesch, we are looking for candidates with varied backgrounds and worldviews. Diverse ideas come from diverse people, and we are committed to offering an inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and respected. If this statement resonates with you, don’t be so hard on yourself—apply for the job!

We have a career opportunity for an experienced professional engineer who has previous experience with water/wastewater and/or water resources engineering. The ideal candidate will have both the technical background and leadership experience or potential to successfully manage a broad range of water resources projects.

The successful candidate will self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of water-related infrastructure projects, as well as play an important role in managing client relationships. The position includes involvement in strategic initiatives that will continue to drive the growth of the water/wastewater group, not only in Pennsylvania but nationwide. This position has the opportunity for a flexible hybrid work schedule with some travel as necessary for client needs.

  • Demonstrate understanding between specifications, cost estimates and pay
  • Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files, assuring adequate independent QC reviews.
What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience with water resources, drinking water, and/or wastewater
  • Increasing skills in creativity and judgment in application of engineering
