You will have the opportunity to:

  • Design potable water, wastewater, stormwater, rainwater harvesting, and other water resource systems.
  • Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and prepare detailed drawings.
  • Develop reports, plans, and manage permit applications.
  • Develop construction specifications, perform site inspections, and sampling.
  • Prepare proposals, manage projects, and communicate with clients.
  • Manage team members and perform quality control reviews.
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Follow safety rules and maintain quality standards.
  2. Participate in pre-task planning and report safety issues.
  3. Conduct site investigations, data collection, surveys, and evaluations.
  4. Manage detailed phases of projects independently, plan and coordinate project work, and collaborate with senior project managers.
  5. Make design and engineering recommendations.
  6. Complete construction phase services and coordinate with operations and maintenance staff.
  7. Prepare proposals and reports, evaluate data, and serve as a technical adviser.
  8. Engage with clients and project teams on project scope and progress.
  9. Supervise junior staff and participate in meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience.
  • Pennsylvania PE license or ability to obtain it.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience:
  • 5+ years in water resources design and permitting.
  • Proficiency in technical writing, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other design software.
  • Strong communication, time management, detail orientation, and project management skills.
  • Experience with PA DEP permitting, municipal engineering, construction oversight, and field reconnaissance.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in marketing.
