Job summary

Lindentx seeks a Water and Wastewater Superintendent to lead the City’s water distribution and wastewater collection operations. You will supervise staff, oversee SCADA, manage regulatory reporting, and guide capital improvements to ensure safe, reliable utility services.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive utility experience, and licenses in water distribution and wastewater operations, with CDL in scope. Join a team focused on SHINE values and public service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of utility construction/maintenance experience, with ≥2 years supervising.
• Equivalent combo of education/training/experience considered.
• Class C Water Distribution license required within 6 months.
• Class III Wastewater Collection Operator license required within 6 months.
• Texas Class B CDL required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and evaluates water/wastewater operations and staff.
• Responds to inquiries and service requests from residents and staff.
• Oversees 24/7 SCADA operations, emergency preparedness, and repairs.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and manages reporting to agencies.
• Assists CIP planning, review, and inspection of projects.
• Supports budget preparation and resource management.
• Uses work order systems to plan and report maintenance work.
• Coordinates events and emergency readiness with other departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
