Job summary

Gfoat in Richardson, TX is seeking a SCADA Supervisor to oversee the City of Richardson Response Center and operate the SCADA System for water distribution and wastewater collection.

Under supervision, you will lead Water System Operators, assign duties, and ensure timely reports to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). You may train new operators and assist in safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License, Class C, is required.
• Must obtain within 18 months: a TCEQ Class C Water Distribution License.
• Must obtain within 18 months: a TCEQ Collections II Wastewater License.

Responsibilities

• Assist SCADA Supervisor in planning and directing Response Center activities and operate the SCADA System for water and wastewater systems.
• Lead Water System Operators, assign duties and work orders, and train new hires.
• Review and deliver reports to TCEQ within required deadlines.
• Maintain operating logs and assist in safety practices and equipment maintenance.
