Job summary

ASM is seeking an experienced Facilities Specialist to own and operate water, wastewater, cooling, and mechanical utility systems within a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility. You will partner with Facilities Operations, Engineering, and EHS to ensure environmental compliance, reliability, and safe operation.

You will monitor performance, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and lead maintenance activities while coordinating vendor services and ensuring spare parts availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater/chemical treatment and high-purity water systems.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, piping, valves, instrumentation, and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical owner for water, wastewater, cooling, and mechanical utility systems.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, capacity, and treatment effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and process upsets; maintain operating limits and escalation plans.
• Support preventive/corrective maintenance, commissioning, startups, and shutdowns.
• Coordinate vendor services and ensure spares and consumables availability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety requirements.
