Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Design Engineer to lead design tasks for water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring compliance with standards and client objectives. The role involves hydraulic modeling, coordination with project teams and regulatory agencies, and providing design input and cost estimates across project phases.

Candidates should have a PE license, a BS in a related engineering field, and at least four years of experience; the position offers a hybrid office/field

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater process engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency is a plus.
• Hybrid office/field environment; exposure to weather and water environments possible.
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review process and facility design plans, calculations, and technical docs for water/wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Apply industry standards, codes, and regulatory criteria for design and project delivery.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and system performance evaluations.
• Coordinate design efforts with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide technical support to project managers, including design input, cost estimating, constructability, and QC across phases.
