Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic Structural Engineering (Water/Wastewater) Intern to join our Water/Wastewater team in Oklahoma City. You will work with licensed engineers on planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience across design and construction phases.

This internship is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing Civil or Structural Engineering, with opportunities to learn structural analysis tools, collaborate with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Interest in water and wastewater structural engineering.
• Familiarity with structural analysis or design software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural design and analysis for water/wastewater facilities.
• Develop structural plans and design concepts.
• Prepare drawings, sketches, and calculations for construction documents.
• Research codes and standards applicable to water and wastewater structures.
• Support cost estimating and quantity take-offs.
• Review shop drawings with senior staff.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support field observations and documentation.
• Use computer-aided engineering software for documentation.
