David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to lead major municipal programs in the Seattle area.

The role focuses on planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater systems, with emphasis on client relationships, financial performance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in civil engineering, a PE license or ability to obtain, and a proven track record of overseeing complex, multi-phase projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; PE license preferred or obtainable.
• 15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience focused on water/wastewater systems.
• Proven track record delivering municipal water/wastewater programs and complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading design efforts and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of public agency processes, permitting, and funding mechanisms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; mentoring staff and developing clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex municipal water/wastewater programs and projects.
• Manage planning, design, and execution of major water systems with multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure strong financial performance across project portfolios.
• Oversee contracts, subconsultants, and regulatory coordination.
• Prepare engineering deliverables: plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates.
• Serve as Engineer of Record or technical lead on projects.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and manage project closeout.
