Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to lead large municipal programs and projects in Washington state. You will mentor teams, manage client relationships, and ensure financial performance across portfolios.

The role focuses on planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater systems, with coordination of multidisciplinary teams and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; PE license required or ability to obtain.
• 15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience focused on water and wastewater systems.
• Experience delivering municipal water/wastewater programs and infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders, subconsultants, and funding partners.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Program & Project Management, Technical Leadership, & Delivery.
• Lead large, complex infrastructure programs with multiple stakeholders and phased delivery.
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of major water/wastewater systems.
• Ensure strong financial performance across project portfolios.
• Manage contracts, subconsultants, and regulatory coordination.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants for design tasks.
• Prepare and oversee engineering deliverables including plans, specs, reports, and cost estimates.
• Oversee project financials including forecasting, invoicing, and profitability.
• Ensure successful project closeout and client satisfaction.
