Join to apply for the Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager role at STV.

STV’s San Antonio, TX location is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager for our Water Practice Group. You’ll contribute to Water and Wastewater (W/WW) project development and execution of varying sizes in a growing office.

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll perform project design engineering, oversee design staff, ensure quality control, manage projects, develop clients, prepare proposals, and pursue sales for W/WW treatment plant and conveyance projects in Texas. A strong understanding of water hydraulics, pipeline mechanics, materials, operation, control, and installation methods is essential. You will handle all aspects of facility engineering under the supervision of the Houston Water Group Manager. Familiarity with modeling software and computer tools is a plus.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver large and/or multiple projects on time, within budget, and according to contract documents.
2. Provide effective project management to reduce costs and add value using proven techniques.
3. Assist in executing existing backlog and developing new pursuits.
4. Lead project teams, coordinate with internal departments, and direct design staff and field personnel.
5. Oversee project design execution and construction.
6. Interface with clients to align expectations.
7. Ensure project safety when part of contractual responsibilities.
8. Participate in initiatives to meet company goals.
9. Assess project requirements and develop sound approaches.
10. Ensure deliverables meet requirements and schedules.
11. Monitor costs, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
12. Improve project quality and effectiveness.
13. Establish metrics for key project criteria.
14. Create communication plans and conduct status meetings.
15. Supervise others as assigned.
16. Perform other related duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• PE license in Texas and at least 12 years of experience.
• Experience in design and construction of W/WW facilities and infrastructure.
• Experience working with municipalities and utility companies.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Leadership, communication, planning, teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading project meetings and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of scheduling, document management, and safety/QA/QC plans.

Compensation Range: $101,562.83 - $135,417.11
