Stanley Consultants, an award-winning global engineering firm, seeks a Water/Wastewater Section Manager in Chicago, IL. Hybrid work arrangement blends office collaboration with flexible scheduling, leveraging your leadership to guide a multidisciplinary team.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure quality, and coordinate projects to meet client needs while developing staff and contributing to business growth. The role requires PE and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) credential.

Responsabilités

• Supervises all staff activities within an engineering section.
• Assigns priorities and balances workloads among staff members.
• Coordinates and monitors direct/indirect labor utilization within the section.
• Responsible for quality control of work produced by the section.
• Recommends hiring, salaries, promotion, transfer, demotion and termination of section members.
• Oversees staff development within the section and training opportunities.
• Ensures project assignments are completed on schedule and within budget parameters.
• When applicable, serves as the Project Manager for key department or section projects.
• Performs other functions delegated by the Department Manager.
