Stanley Consultants is seeking a Water/Wastewater Section Manager in Chicago, IL. This hybrid role directs a section of engineers, aligns staffing and budgets, and ensures design quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in discipline.
• PE license or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all staff activities within an engineering section.
• Assigns priorities and balances workloads among staff members.
• Coordinates and monitors direct/indirect labor utilization among section staff members.
• Ensures quality control of work produced by the section.
• Recommends hiring, salaries, promotion, transfer, demotion and termination of section members.
• Oversees staff development and training opportunities.
• Ensures section projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Serves as Project Manager for key department or section projects when applicable.
• Performs other functions delegated by the Department Manager.
