Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Manager to join our Water Business Group in the Charleston or Greenville office in South Carolina. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of progressive experience leading design teams on water and/or wastewater treatment projects, with strong client development and team coordination skills.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure project execution from planning through construction, and mentor junior staff while traveling regionally/nationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of related experience including at least 2 years in project management.
• Professional Engineer license recognized by the licensing board.
• MS Office and MS Project experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Function as Project Manager, leading multidiscipline teams and delivering projects using HDR tools.
• Build team expertise and capacity by recruiting, training and mentoring junior staff.
• Support HDR services in utility planning, asset management and water/wastewater design; some travel.
• Perform other duties as needed.
