GHD is seeking a Project Manager for Water & Wastewater to lead major treatment and infrastructure projects in the Southeast. Based in Columbia, Hilton Head, or Savannah, you will oversee project delivery, budgets, schedules, and client engagement, while mentoring staff and shaping win strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in planning, design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure or treatment facilities.
• Strong understanding of consulting engineering for municipal agencies.
• Willing to travel to project sites (primarily day trips).

Responsibilities

• Client & Customer Management (External): manage relationships with small clients and assist with larger clients.
• Contract Management: manage day-to-day relationships with contract service providers.
• Engineering Solutions Design: design engineering solutions and validation processes for project briefs.
• Engineering Standards Specification: analyze information and draft engineering standards and specifications.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: follow HSE policies and mitigate risks.
• Personal Capability Building: develop capabilities, participate in training and coaching.
• Project Management: deliver small- to medium-scale projects within a program management plan.
• Proposal/Tender Response: draft proposals and fulfill bid requirements to win contracts.
