Baxter & Woodman seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Houston, TX office. You will manage and design water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure while developing business through existing client relationships and project leadership.

The role offers advancement to lead technical teams, with responsibilities spanning scope, budget, design, and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and mentoring are essential in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of water/wastewater design experience.
• Knowledge of TCEQ and local regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical materials.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Excellent verbal, computer, and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel across service areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure design and reports meet quality objectives and criteria.
• Make independent decisions on engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with peers and management.
• Lead single/multi-disciplined projects and mentor team members.
• Prepare and review water/wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure designs.
• Represent the company in client and agency meetings.
