Job summary

Baxter & Woodman seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineering Client Manager in the Houston or Katy, Texas office. This role oversees a team in the Water/Wastewater Department, manages both small and large projects, and builds strong client relationships while aligning with corporate goals.

You will supervise multidisciplinary work, coordinate with departments, and present solutions to clients and management. Travel within the service area is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in client management, project management, or design.
• Experience with municipal utility districts and/or local municipalities.
• Knowledge of TCEQ, City of Houston, and County regulations.
• Experience with water and wastewater systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend utility district meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Manage projects to deliver within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop strong client relationships and act as client manager.
• Prepare engineering proposals and statements of qualifications with business development.
• Provide knowledge transfer and staff training.
• Represent the company in industry and lead project teams.
