Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water Wastewater Project Manager to lead projects from scope through delivery, aligning with public health and environmental goals.

You will work with municipalities and the Water Team to drive results and build lasting relationships. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license, and hands-on experience managing budgets, schedules, and contracts, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 4+ years of discipline-specific engineering experience required, including 2 years of project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks.
• Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
• Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred.
• Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage water/wastewater projects from development of project proposals through completion, providing environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships
• Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors
• Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations
• Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance as determined by the Quality Management Plan
• Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
