Job summary

Apex Clearing Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water, wastewater, or structural engineering initiatives in Florida. You will oversee design oversight and construction administration to meet technical specs, budgets, and schedules while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida PE license or be able to obtain one, with 5+ years of project-management experience and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing water, wastewater, or structural engineering projects.
• Proven ability to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage engineering projects from initial scoping through final delivery.
• Oversee project design activities, reviewing plans, calculations, and specifications.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and agencies.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee construction engineering inspection activities and coordinate with teams.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative environment.
