Job summary

PC Construction seeks a Project Engineer to join our Florida team, contributing to water and wastewater facilities projects. The right candidate has an engineering or construction management degree with about three years’ experience directing projects and handling financial outcomes, with emphasis on MEP scopes and cross-disciplinary coordination.

You will work with owners, design, and field teams through the project lifecycle to ensure schedule, quality, and safety while managing subcontracts,

Qualifications

Requires a degree in engineering or construction management.
Three years of experience directing, completing, and financially managing construction projects.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing scopes and related trades.

Responsibilities

Assemble and distribute bid packages.
Obtain scopes of work and quotations from subcontractors and vendors.
Manage subcontractor and vendor communications on scope, pricing, and schedule.
Review design drawings and specifications for issues.
Prepare and process RFIs, change orders, and subcontract/PO changes.
Maintain contract document logs and update design drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and logs.
Track project schedule and progress to avoid delays.
