Job summary

PCL Civil Constructors, Inc. in West Palm Beach, Florida is seeking a Project Manager to provide leadership and oversight on complex water and wastewater construction projects from planning through execution.

You will lead project teams, manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes. Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years of experience, a strong safety culture, and proficiency with project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred.
• Experience implementing a strong safety culture through health, safety and environment principles.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry including materials, methods, codes, and safety/quality practices.
• Strong planning, organizational and time management skills including budgets and schedules.
• Ability to identify and manage risk and opportunities on construction projects.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support to a medium size construction project.
• Develops and implements the project safety plan and leads by example.
• Ensures the project is constructed per design, budget, resources, quality, and schedule.
• Negotiates subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitors progress.
• Communicates and enforces the contract documents.
• Coordinates project closeout and manages risk/opportunities.
• Monitors design progress, quality and constructability.
• Conducts periodic quality audits to ensure compliance.
• Keeps stakeholders informed of opportunities and challenges.
