Job summary

Neel-Schaffer, Inc. seeks a Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to join our growing engineering firm in the Jackson (MS) Metro area. The successful candidate will oversee municipal water/wastewater projects and collaborate with an engineering team to meet client demands while delivering high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and a Mississippi PE or the ability to obtain within 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater, municipal, or site civil projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Mississippi or ability to obtain within 6–12 months (preferred).
• Ability to produce technical reports and memorandums that are clear, concise, and accurate.
• Strong communication with teaming partners, colleagues, and clients.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and design software (EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWater) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead water/wastewater project management within a client-focused environment.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and public officials to deliver high-quality projects.
• Develop technical reports, proposals, and memorandums for projects and clients.
