Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Project Management professional to plan, execute, and oversee Water and Wastewater projects in Florida. You will lead project teams, define scope, allocate resources, and manage schedules and budgets to deliver on time and within quality and safety standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor risks, and report progress to stakeholders while progressively increasing revenue responsibility and independent delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience with development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Experience in risk and change management and contract management of small to mid-size projects.
• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or business administration or equivalent relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for small to mid-sized projects.
• Define objectives, decision-making processes, schedules, budgets and success factors.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and manage client expectations to prevent overruns.
• Create and maintain project schedules and budgets; mitigate delays.
• Ensure quality management and compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks; manage change orders in collaboration with the client.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver scope.
• Monitor profitability through earned value, revenue forecasting, and timely invoicing.
