Xylem, a Fortune 500 water technology company, is hiring a Project Manager for its Charlotte, NC office. You will oversee equipment design, review submittals, schedule production, and manage scope, schedule and cost to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Business and 2–10 years of engineering-related experience; Professional Engineer or PMI certification is preferred. Travel to sites and suppliers may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
• 2–10 years of engineering-related experience; ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Professional Engineer and/or PMI certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents and tailor deliverables to contract requirements.
• Serve as main point of contact for customers, consultants, suppliers and colleagues.
• Review technical design and layout; prepare data packages and submittals.
• Coordinate scope of work with third‑party vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and manage installation and commissioning.
• Travel to project sites and supplier factories as required.
