Tetra Tech is seeking a Project Manager – Water/Wastewater (PE) to lead delivery of water and wastewater projects from planning through design in our Ann Arbor, Michigan office. You will manage client relationships, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects meet engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, budgets and schedules, and mentoring junior staff while traveling as needed to support municipal and utility clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and civil design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel periodically (approximately 15% or more).

Responsabilités

• Lead the delivery of water, wastewater, stormwater, and civil infrastructure projects from planning through design and execution.
• Provide technical leadership, project management, and client engagement.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal design teams and manage multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and high-quality deliverables.
