Job summary

McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE), an ESP Company, is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead Arkansas projects from our Fayetteville office. Responsibilities include planning, design, permitting, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across AR and OK.

Requires civil engineering degree and familiarity with water/wastewater infrastructure. The role offers full-time employment with travel, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an ABET accredited college.
• Knowledge of ADEQ and ADH regulations, policies, and procedures
• Understanding of Ten States Standards
• Thorough understanding of water and wastewater system infrastructure design

Responsibilities

• Planning, development, implementation, and evaluation with the management of a wide variety of projects
• Resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
• Maintain the progress, mutual interaction, and tasks of various parties in such a way that reduces the risk of overall failure, maximizes benefits, and minimizes costs
• Prepares engineering reports, feasibility studies, master plans, environmental information documents and project performance work plans and reports
• Prepares permits (NPDES, ARDOT, ADEQ, etc.)
• Prepares engineering design drawings using field data and topographical/geologic information
• Conducts pre-construction and pre-bid meetings and periodic construction meetings
• Manages CAD, surveying, clerical and other support staff to ensure on-schedule delivery
